Third stage – land reform, division of feudal lands

The first principle of the Shah and the people revolution was land reform, which was implemented in three stages and the Agricultural Credit Bank was established to assist in the implementation of programs. Establishment of Rural Cooperative Company, Rural Cooperative Union, Agricultural Joint Stock Company, Rural Production Cooperative Company for Integration of Agricultural Lands, Rural Culture House and Rural Social Insurance are some of the achievements of the implementation of the Land Reform Law:

Principle 2 – Nationalization of forests and pastures

Principle 3 – Transformation of state-owned factories into joint stock companies

Principle 4 – Share workers’ profits in factories

Principle 5 – Amend the election law

  • Trade Union Law – Approved by the National Assembly on June 7, 1350 and the Senate on 3 June 1350 – This law was signed by Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi on June 10, 1350.

Principle 6 – Knowledge Corps

Principle 7 – Health Corps

  • Law on the Establishment of the Health Corps – Approved by the National Assembly on February 11, 1963 and the Senate on May 27, 1964 – This law was signed by Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi on May 3, 1964.
    • Rural Midwifery Training Law – Approved by the National Assembly on 5 May 1347 and the Senate on 6 June 1347 – This law was signed by Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi on 11 June 1347.

Principle 8 – Extension and Development Corps

Principle 9 – Establishment of houses of justice and arbitration councils

Principle 10 – Nationalization of the country’s waters

Principle 11 – Renovation of cities and villages with the help of the Extension and Development Corps

Principle 12 – Administrative Revolution and Educational Revolution

Principle 13 – Sale of shares to workers of large industrial units or the law on the expansion of ownership of production units

Principle Fourteen – Fighting Inflation and Over-Selling and Defending Consumer Interests

Principle 15 – Free and compulsory education

Principle 16 – Free feeding for students in schools and free feeding of infants up to the age of two with their mothers
