TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Geological Survey of Iran (GSI) and the Museum of Natural History Vienna on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in order to develop bilateral cooperation in different geoscience fields.
The MoU was inked on Saturday between Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Shahidi and Mathias Harzhauser on behalf of Dr. Kathryn Wadland, the head of the Geological-Paleontological Department at the Natural History Museum Vienna.
During their meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the technical and scientific capacities in different geoscience fields.
Holding geoscience exhibitions, developing scientific cooperation, analyzing data and training modern technologies were among the topics discussed by the two sides.
