A farewell ceremony is being held for late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at the venue of the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
This ceremony is being held with the presence of domestic and foreign officials and personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mashq Square at the foreign ministry premises in the capital city of Tehran.
ُSome Jewish rabbis have also taken part at the farewell ceremony of the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, the Iranian Parliment Speaker Maohammad Bagher Ghalibaf are also present in this ceremony.
Following the ceremony, martyr Amirabdollahian’s body will be transferred to the Holy Shrine of Shah Abdol-Azim Hasani for burial.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan’ani and the former Speaker of the Parliament of Iran Ali Larijani have also attended this ceremony.
The presence of foreign delegations in Iran to pay tribute to martyrs was a sign of the growth and success of the neighborhood policy, the Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani told Mehr News on the sidelines of the funeral.
Also, Iranians gather in Tehran to bid farewell to FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who will be buried in the shrine of Shah Abdol-Azim in the town of Shahr-Rey south of the capital.
