TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foolad football club goalkeeper Christopher Knett penned a two-year contract extension.
The Austrian custodian joined the Ahvaz-based club in July 2022 from Sepahan.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper had good performance in the 2022-23 AFC Champions League and advanced to quarterfinals, where the Iranian team lost to holder Al Hilal 1-0.
Knett has previously played at Greek team Panetolikos, Austrian teams Wacker Innsbruck and Austria Lustenau.
