TEHRAN (Tasnim) – If the Europeans and other allies of America do not rid themselves of blind support for Washington, they will go down with the US, which has been caught in a downward spiral in the new world order, Iran’s top military commander warned.
Addressing the ‘International Conference on New World Order Geometry’, held in Tehran on Wednesday, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said the US’ attempts to rule over the world have ended in failure.
He said the signs of the decline of the US’ power became obvious after the pullout of American forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, the remarkable reduction of US troops in West Asia, as well as the US’ confusion over the deployment of military forces to West Asia, south of China and west of Europe.
Advancements in science in the modern world and an end to the US’ supremacy in the scientific and technological fields are other pieces of proof that America is on the decline, the Iranian general added, warning the European countries and other allies of the US that they will be pulled down in tandem with the US if they do not free themselves from the chains of blind support for Washington.
Back in 2018, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the diminishing influence of the US government in all areas of power, saying Washington has even discredited “liberal democracy” which is known as the basis of Western civilization.
