Iran eased past Venezuela 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) in the 2020 Olympic Games on Monday.
Amir Ghafour scored 16 points for Iran and Venezuela’s Willner Rivas garnered 15 points.
Iran started the Games with a 3-2 win over Poland on Saturday in Pool A.
Next up for the Iranian is a matchup against Canada, scheduled for Wednesday.
Brazil will be defending its title in the competition.
