TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran basketball team’s captain Hamed Haddadi traveled to Manila, the Philippines, on Thursday to participate at the 2023 FIBA World Cup draw ceremony.
Iran Basketball Federation’s secretary general, Mohsen Moezifar, will also take part in the ceremony.
The draw will be held in Manila on Saturday.
A total of 32 teams have been placed into eight pots, each containing four nations. Iran is placed in pot 5 along with Dominican Republic, Finland, and New Zealand.
The draw ceremony will be held at the Araneta Coliseum.
