Amirabdollahian wraps up 7-day intensive talks in New York

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian left the US for Iran after intensive diplomatic consultations on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Amirabdollahian who accompanied Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi last Monday to participate in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, remained in the United States after the departure of the President and engaged in bilateral consultations. continued regional and international.

Iran’s foreign minister had about 43 plans, 34 of which were meetings with counterparts and some officials, including a meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who, in part of the talks, discussed the initiative and proposal of the Iranian president regarding the necessity of  solidarity of the families.

In a meeting with other officials and parties, Iran’s foreign minister talked about some of the existing global and regional challenges and consulted with the foreign ministers of countries about pursuing bilateral issues and agreements that are on the agenda between Tehran and the opposite country.

Amirabdollahian finally left New York after seven days of intensive diplomatic consultations on Sunday evening local time to follow the results of these consultations in Tehran and travel to other countries.
